Some canning. The smallest probably for some overnight oatmeal. 🙂
I use canning jars many ways. I canned homemade pickles earlier this year and have a stock of dehydrated foods in the pantry in other jars–with the oxygen-removal packets (cannot remember the exact name).
Need to dry store some items with oxygen absorbers. The jars would be a good start.
Canning or dry canning. Thanks for the chance.
I’ve been canning for 40 years. Never enough jars!
Isn’t that the truth Susan!
I ,like a fool gave away a bunch of canning jars in a move several years back , thinking I wouldn’t do that any more…. Well now it’s costing me a small fortune to replace them , been happy to get back into canning 🙂
Oh my Charlotte! I have hundreds of canning jars and my family thinks I’m crazy. We moved from Oregon to Texas and I brought them all with me – you’re right those babies are expensive to purchase by the case and all I could think about was all the money I would be giving away. Good Luck!
