Wholesale Bulk Buying

Why Bulk Buys?

Wholesale Bulk Buying is my favorite way to put up a lot of food in a little time. When fruits and vegetables are in season you can get them at GOOD prices! When it gets to the peak of the season and the market is flooded with that particular produce item, you can get it at GREAT prices!

How to find a wholesale bulk buying opportunity

Wholesale Bulk Buying ideas | PreparednessMama

Find suppliers by asking local independent fruit & veggie stands what produce can get in bulk, and if they will give you a discount for bulk purchases. Buying by the case is usually cheaper anyway.

Join a CSA and support a local farmer.

Look for local food co-ops and see what they have to offer. This might be the best place to purchase dry goods like flour, grains and beans.

See if there is a Meet-up group in your area what is purchasing in bulk.

Still stumped? Create your own group. You must have likeminded friends! Do a Facebook poll and see which of your friends within a 20 mile radius are interested in group buys. Now you have the basic group.
