Join us every Monday for the 2014 Be Prepared Summer Challenge.
From June through August, we will post something that you can do with your family to be prepared. Think of it as a summer boot camp of preparedness – only not as strenuous!
This Week’s Challenge:
If a fire broke out tonight when you were sleeping, would your family be prepared?
Make a fire escape plan for your home that includes a pre-designated meeting place outside of your house.
You may have only minutes to get out of your home if it’s on fire. Plan two ways out of every room and a meeting place outside.
Once out, stay out! Don’t go back into the house for anything or anyone.
Use this handy Fire Escape Plan download and leave a comment on our Facebook page once you’ve completed it. Are you joining the challenge?
