Thanks for stopping by! Tell me one this you have enjoyed about the 30 Days of Preparedness Challenge.
I am new to this whole process and small scale homesteading, but I want to become proficient and be able to take care of my family.
self-sufficiency….being able to do it all when the supplies run out.
I’m pretty much just getting started, but I’d have to say the one area of preparedness I most want to improve upon is gardening and preserving my own food. At this point, this is my greatest challenge.
Nice giveaway!
My long term and short term food and water pantries are sorely lacking and I am working on them.
The more I learn about prepping, the more I realize I need to focus on short term water storage. I have filters, but if water isn’t immediately available, I need to make sure I have some water physically on hand. Thanks for all you guys do!
Thanks for the giveaway – knowledge is power, and gaining more should by my primary goal.
Living in California, I really need to be more up preparing for a earthquake disaster. I have some things in place, but there are many day-to-day items that need to be better planned out.
I’d like to try the Royal Berkey® 3.25 Gallon purifier
Water is my main concern, and having enough safe food on hand at all times for my son (he has severe food allergies).
I’d like to learn more about growing food to feed my family starting from seeds.
Food storage (doing it myself) and plans for clean water.
Definitely food storage!!!
My next big step will be purchasing and learning to use a pressure canner. I really need to store more meat and preserve the veggies we grow. We don’t have room for a chest freezer so I want to learn to pressure can to expand our food storage.
My family and I are working on have supplies for at least 72 hrs. We are just starting our preparedness journey. The more we learn the better.
Trying my hand at container gardening. Need a lot of improvement, not much success as of yet.
Water, we really need to work on water storage
Great resources. Thanks.
I have been dehydrating foods, I need to work on the water supply thing, and a chicken coop, grew up with chickens so I know a little ….
Cool!
We became concerned about being prepared a little over a year now so we need to improve on all aspects. The one main area that concerns me is not having room for proper water storage.
I need help getting fit!
This is very exciting!
I am definitely a beginner. I can see all kinds of things here that will interest me but need to learn more about food storage. Thanks for the giveaway.
I am working on 72 hour kits.
I want to understand how to store well large items of grain.
Nice giveaway.
I want to learn more about storing, using and ultimately growing a small amount of grain.
Thanks for the chance.I want to learn more about natural remedies.
Long term food storage – need more training.
Just starting to be prepared and need all the help I can get.
I want to improve on food storage.
